We are well aware of the problems of pollution and energy waste and this is why in recent years “Villa Dolce Vita” has become increasingly more green.
Living a “green” lifestyle means choosing to live in a sustainable way and with a little effort and some precautions it really is possible. Every day we perform several actions which, unintentionally, have a negative impact on our environment and if we changed a few small habits we could really make a difference.
The problem of waste obviously also concerns other resources: from the water wasted during the shower to the lights and air conditioning left on when not needed.
But let’s go over the new features that made Villa Dolce Vita so green!
Lighting system.
Low consumption LED bulbs have been installed all around the house and, in the garden, the external lights turn on automatically via twilight sensors while the other lights only turn on when people pass by.
This is one of the reasons why Villa Dolce Vita is so green.
Let’s build a good habit: be careful not to leave the lights on when you don’t need them or when you leave the house.
Hot water.
To produce hot water we have installed a system with two flat solar panels on the roof with a 300 It. storage and a solar station located in a technical compartment.
The system was designed to satisfy all needs and make our Villa Dolce Vita increasingly more green.
Tip for a good habit: a moderate usage of both hot and cold water is recommended, don’t keep the tap open when you don’t need it.
Electricity.
To produce electricity we have installed a system of photovoltaic solar panels on the roof.
In Premantura there is no methane gas network so all the utilities serving the Villa are electric.

Cooling and heating.
For cooling and heating, new generation inverter air conditioners have been installed to reduce consumption.
There are six air conditioners installed, one for each room, to best meet your need and make our Villa Dolce Vita increasingly more green.
Let’s build a good habit: when using the air conditioning, we recommend that you make sure the windows are closed and the temperature is set to an appropriate degree.
Waste sorting.
Premantura provides us with door-to-door waste collection.
At the entrance to Villa Dolce Vita there are bins for glass, paper, general waste, plastic and metal.
Let’s build a good habit: please recycle as much as possible by depositing the materials in the appropriate containers, we will take care of placing them outside the Villa for collection on the scheduled days.
Water.
We have created a large underground cistern near the swimming pool to store rain water and use it over the summer to water the garden.
This system prevents water waste and makes our garden more beautiful and “green“.
Now it’s up to you to do your best to defend and protect our planet, use recyclable items or low-to-zero waste products. Don’t litter plastic, cigarettes, paper and anything else around and don’t waste water and electricity.
